@hello-delicious-tea mochte auch ein Sprachpartner, zumindest mochte sie ein das letzte Mal, dass ich fragte. Und @icryyoumercy hat Deutsch als Muttersprache, obwohl es Schweizerdeutsch ist und nicht Hochdeutsch - aber vielleicht wurde er auch gerne auf Deutsch mit Dir reden?

Ich meine, Du mochtest “Ich habe auf Duo geübt” (üben = praktizieren) schreiben. Und ich würde auch Serafina auf Deutsch vorschlagen, da ich es zuerst so las - einfach, macht Spaß, Mathedrachen. MATHEDRACHEN!

Wenn Du auch Pillowfort benützt (konjugation?), denn gibt’s auch da eine deutschsprachige Kommunität.

in honor of turning 27 here is a list of 27 things I am glad about or grateful for over the past year

  1. finishing my goddamn master’s degree
  2. visiting the Cloisters for the first time
  3. the stream by my old apartment
  4. solidarity from my (previous) library director
  5. the winter solstice and this year’s party for it
  6. tiny private twitter
  7. having each other’s backs w/ my counterpart at old job
  8. getting all the way to the in-person interview round for That One Job
  9. (and, being perfectly honest, not getting That One Job)
  10. the song “The Greatest” by Sia (which I managed to inextricably associate with job hunting such that it gave me adrenaline rushes for months, but it fuckin’ got me through, ok)
  11. the guy at the suit store who sold me three bowties for $15, they were on sale but I’m pretty sure they weren’t supposed to be that much on sale
  12. my sister <3
  13. my rainbow octopus
  14. my writergroup!
  15. getting good at taking selfies that I feel good about
  16. the gay bar in Denver that hosted the glbt librarian social
  17. faaaaamily
  18. joining a new internet community
  19. the public library for loaning me so many DVDs when I needed them
  20. my friends having their wedding ceremony that was 100% them and also 100% adorable

  23. getting just the right apartment
  24. my friends giving me moving boxes so I didn’t have to buy any
