It’s shocking but eventually you get use to sleeping through noise. I grew up surrounded by trains and never lost a nights sleep to them. Then later I lived beside three hospitals, slept through sirens all the time once I got use to them.
i thought so too, but i’m here since october… maybe there was a period when it didn’t bother me but now i’m back to being annoyed by every single noise, especially in the afternoon >:\
but gosh, it must have been really bad in the beginning living next to hospitals :o
It was rather annoying for a little while living beside the hospitals but they were nothing compared to this little girl who lived downstairs who screamed for hours on end and her parents didn’t seem to care. I worked nights at the time and she would basically run around outside screaming from sunup to sundown. Machines I can sleep through. People. Nope.
Maybe your desire to GTFO already is pushing your noise tolerance to the edge further. I know when I’m stressed or not in the mood the noisy neighbors upstairs make me want to snap. I was so happy I took my noise canceling headphones home this weekend. Lol again a sign I can tolerate machines but people making noise XD
