Thank you for this info! The challenge for me is the rice. I’m not very good at making rice, unless it’s Spanish rice, and I presently don’t have a rice cooker. I found a recipe online for softer rice like you suggest and I think I’ll give it a try tomorrow. The only time I’ve had onigiri was in when I was in Tokyo, and it was the kind wrapped in seaweed but I’ll probably make it with shredded with sesame seeds. The last time I went to the Asian market the owner gave me a packet of seasoning, seems like the time to finally use it.

Firsts

First group you listened to: My intro to kpop was through watching Boys Over Flowers, so I’m not sure who was really first in that sense, but the first group I sought out and loved was SS501.

First solo artist you listened to:  Park Jung Min. When I found SS501 he was just releasing his first solo album, so I of course followed his solo activities.

First group to actually know their names: SS501

First bias: Kim Kyujong was first but very quickly followed by Kim Hyung Jun.

First song to make you emotional: That I remember clearly, U-KISS’s – 0330. It’d been an emotional time with the member changes but then I heard how Hoon’s voice melded so beautifully with Soohyun and Kevin’s voice I just sat there and cried.

Top 3

Top 3 male groups: Only three? I love too many. VIXX, SHINee, WINNER, BTS, BigBang, Infinite, and B.A.P (I tried and failed)

Top 3 female groups: I don’t have many and only one is still actively promoting. Mamamoo, 2NE1, Brown Eyed Girls, Kara

Top 3 solo artists: Zion T. Junsu, K.Will bonus Taemin, Jonghyun, and Eddie Kim (I actually really seem to like soloist, there’s a long list in my head)

Top 3 choreographies: SHINee – Married to the Music, Sherlock, & Everybody, VIXX – Error, Infinite – Before the Dawn

Top 3 Bias: Onew, Hyuk, Key, Ravi and Leo (Key came in and messed up my bias list after I finally got it straightened out after Hyuk came in and made a mess of it!)

Top 3 fandoms you’re a part of: VIXX, SHINee, and WINNER. I want to also say BTS but I do not actually feel part of the fandom. I’m a sideline fan who loves the music and the group, but apart from the actual fandom if that makes sense. But I love them enough to occasionally make gifs of them.

Top 3 fave songs of all time: This is an impossible question to answer. I love too many songs from all the groups I love and many more from groups/soloist not on my bias lists. And that’s just Korean music. I’ll pick three favorites that I listen to everyday right now WINNER – Really Really, SHINee – Alarm Clock, G-Dragon – Bullshit.
