It’s Tall Tuesday time! I had the brilliant idea to shove my water dish over to my hidey hut, and now I am so close to making it onto the top of my hidey hut!
Outdoor time on our patio is super exciting: So many things for me to nom! And so many things for Mom to yell “NO!” about…
Sunny days are for exploring outside! As you can see starting at ~0:30, I am usually a good boy and don't nom things Mom tells me not to nom. Usually. (🔊 on!)
P.S. Remember those bricks?
Flashback Friday
Back in December, friend Rae gave us the most adorable plant: A succulent Bulbasaur! I desperately wanted to nom the succulent, but every time I so much as stretched my neck towards it, Mom yelled, “NO!” I learned years ago what “NO!” means, so I was a good boy and did not eat the succulent. Instead, I gave Mom lots of side eyes for being mean and not letting me nom the yummy succulent!
I found a delicious-looking weed outside, but Mommy yelled, “No, Kirby, no!” so I was a good boy and did not nom it. (Mommy is so proud of me for knowing the word “no”!)
Maybe Mommy will let me nom that weed over there?
(Google made a hilarious gif that looks like I’m wiggling my bum!)
Do you know what today is?
Today is my second birthday!!
More accurately, today marks two whole years since I showed up on Mommy's doorstep in a FedEx box! We don't know my exact hatchdate, so we celebrate today as my birthday instead. (My hatchday is probably around August 1.)
In other words, it's party time!!
I tried to nom my candles again, but Mommy yelled, "No!" so I was a good boy this year and refrained. Now where's my cake?!
Mommy's special "I'm home" whistle makes me come running out from under my log! I missed you, Mommy!
Warm summer weather means lots of time outside on our deck! I often find delicious-looking potential noms on our deck. I bop them with my nose, but if Mommy shouts, "No, Kirby, no!", then I don't nom them and keep walking. "No" is the third word I learned, after "breakfast" and my name. Mommy is so proud of me!
