It’s the most wonderful time of the year! 🐅 Today is the annual P-rade, when Mom wears as much orange and black as possible! 🐯🧡🖤 I got to go to the big parade with Mom several years ago, but I am staying home this year despite GRUMPing at Mom about it. 😤🐢 At least Grandmom will give me all the treats! 😋

It’s P-rade day! This year, on top of all her usual orange and black gear, Mom has new @nikewomen shoes that just so happen to be in the perfect colors. (Totally unintentional!)
I had so much fun walking in the P-rade last year in my homemade tiger stripes! Unfortunately, I can’t go with Mom this year for logistical reasons. I will be back next year!

Today we celebrate our favorite big cat! Tigers are the biggest cats on our planet: Did you know that tigers can grow to over 10 feet long and over 600 pounds?! Their easily recognizable stripes are even unique: No two tigers have the same pattern of stripes! Show your tiger stripes by helping to save these endangered beauties!
My mom is a cover model! That’s Mom on the cover of this year’s official Reunions Guide! The photo is of Mom at last year’s Reunions, but Mom had no idea this photo even existed before seeing this cover!
Trains rides are excellent photo opportunities! I was as excited as Mom on the way to my first P-rade and wanted to see everything outside my tiger-striped basket! On the way home, I was starting to get sleepy so all I wanted were cuddles with Mom. Mom’s hand is so comfy that I took a short nap---in a halo of evening light!
Not only did I get to meet adoring new fans during my first P-rade, but also I got to run around in beautiful green grass at the end of the P-rade! While running around, I made sure to check out all the Reunions-styled feet around me: Friend Megan wore the sparkliest shoes, and Mom’s toenails looked even tastier than usual! (Mom paints tiger stripes on her nails by herself for Reunions every year!)

The P-rade is 3.5 hours long (you read that right!), so we took a snack break in the middle. While Mom and her friends ate ice cream, I nommed away on chicory and radicchio! Mom also found me a delicious dandelion to nom! Then, after the P-rade, I chilled on Mom’s lap while everyone ate dinner and played guessing games.
I am ready for my first parade this afternoon! To make sure I am not trampled by the crowds, Mom decked out a basket just for me!
Two more days until my very first parade! While Mom is finishing up my costume for this weekend, I am learning the locomotive cheer that is given for each class who walks by in the P-rade. Do I get a treat for every locomotive? 🐯
Mom says I am finally big enough to walk in a parade for the first time next weekend! But first, I will need a costume to fit in. Time for Mom to start crocheting!

I got to go to work with Mommy on Friday! First order of business was inspecting the turtles on Mommy's desk. The little green turtle from friend Rae was as un-nomable as I remembered. I hadn't met the big orange and black turtle before. He was super squishy and even gave me a lift on his back. I got so excited I fell off onto my own back!
