Today was an exciting day for Mom: Today Mom completed a big milestone she has been working towards for awhile! 🎉🍾 Mom shellebrated by baking a cake that turned out not quite right but still delicious—or so Mom tells me because I didn’t get up at all on account of rain pouring down all day. Mom says when I get up tomorrow, she’s still not sharing her cake with me, but I will get a shellebratory radicchio feast! 🍰😋🐢🥳

It’s a big day, friends: Today is the day we sing Happy Birthday to Zoya Pants the Great @tort-time! General Zoya leads the way to the Turtpocalypse every day with her top-notch CHOMPs and STOMPs!
Mom helped me find a giant card cake for shell friend Stanley to bring to General Zoya to shellebrate. The card cake is so much bigger than Stanley that he has to STOMP very slowly, so he is still on his way!
Today is a big day for a big tort: Waffles @wafflesworld turns 6 years old! Mom says customs would steal any cake we sent through the mail, so I found a shell friend to bring Waffles a cake instead!
Happy happy hatchday, Waffles!! We can’t wait to see how awesome your stomps will be this year, especially after how epic they were last year (RIP garden)!
Cats love boxes, and I love all types of packing materials! I especially loved all the pretty decorations @anne-fine put on my beautiful birthday box. I immediately discovered a special stamp showing Tito, Nico, Joa, and their humom. I made sure to give each and every one of them a thank you boop! 😘 Then I discovered the cake sticker---I love cake!! 🎂😍

Last but not least: @anne-fine‘s tissue paper and packing paper are delicious!! 📦😋 (Hooray for Mom leaving all the packing material out while she put my presents in various places!)
Mom thought putting me in my birthday box would keep me from nomming all the wrapping paper and plastic. Mom, how do you still not understand that all paper is delicious?

It was my sweetheart Kirby’s @thewhimsyturtle hatchday the other day! He had a most scrumptious watermelon cake that I wish I could have shared with him. Instead, I picked him a very tasty hibiscus that I can send in the mail.
Mango is the sweetest tortie ever!! I wish I could have shared my cake with Mango, but I can’t complain when she picked me such a humongous hibiscus! Thank you, Mango! 💖 🐢 💝 🐢 💕

Happy hatchday to me! Today I am two years old. Mom made me a super tasty hatchday cake and best friend Kirby and his humom thewhimsyturtle sent me the most perfect card. Of course I couldn’t celebrate without Mango by my side because what is a party without those you love? I made a wish that I would have my very own loaf of bread and poof! It appeared! Best hatchday ever!
Friend Waffles had the awesomest birthday party today! He got an awesome hat just for him--and look at that cake!! We wish we could be there to share in the celebration!

No birthday party would be complete without cake! Mommy made me a cake as big as me, with layers of strawberry, apple, carrot, red-leaf lettuce, dandelion greens, kale, and radicchio--all my favorites!! (She wanted to put a big dandie flower on top, but she could only find fluffy white dandelion seeds.) I was so excited that I forgot to swallow half the time!
Today marks 10.5 years with my human! To celebrate, here is a look back at my 10th birthday party in July. My human made me a cake and got me giant candles! You can watch me eat my cake and see lots more photos right here. My human and I don't know exactly when my hatchday is, so we celebrate the day I adopted my human. I still had my egg tooth when that happened, so my party day isn't far off from my real hatchday. P.S. If you are wondering how I am still so small after 10 years of chomping my human's fingers, I have a metabolic growth disorder, probably genetic. I am growing, just much much slower than a normal turtle. It is another way that I am extra special!

This cake is not a lie! At least, it was not a lie for our humom. It was, however, a lie for us. We weren't allowed to eat any of it, although Kirby tried so very hard to get a bite! P.S. This is also our 100th Tumblr post! How timely!
