Life has been so busy that we are way behind on our posts! Mom is finally taking some much needed time off this week, so while Mom is sleeping and I am getting spoiled rotten by Grandmom, we will finally catch up on our post backlog . . . 🔙
📬 First up is this delightful birthday card that friends Tito, Nico, Joa, and their humom @anne-fine sent me all the way from Japan at the end of the summer! So many happy critters (including a turtle!) lined up to wish me happy birthday! Friend Joa made my card even more special by adding a birthday hat, balloons, a special sign, and oodles of adorable stickers! 💌🥳🎈🌈 🐢

I got more birthday mail! Friends Tito, Nico, Joa, and their humom @anne-fine sent me the cutest card ever!! The dandelion-yellow front of the card has an adorable happy tortoise with the most perfect accessory: A crochet hook, Mom’s favorite crafting tool and what she uses to make my Halloween costumes! 💌🧶🤗 (ETA: Lovepop says it’s actually a candle, but we’re going with crochet hook!)
But the amazingness doesn’t stop there. My card opens up to a beautiful birthday forest wonderland, complete with a shellebratory friend and a big log covered in pretty little mushrooms and flowers. Plus a hidden colorful birthday message just for me! 🥳🐢🕯🌳🍄🌸🌈🥰
Thank you so much, friends! I was a good boy and refrained from CHOMPing my beautiful card, so it is now sitting in a place of honor on our bookshelf where we can see it every day! 🌟

A few months ago, we commissioned a special pom pom keychain friend from Pompom Wonderland for our friend @qvoro! Pom pom seal is so cute that I immediately wanted to give him the ultimate compliment, but Mom yelled, “NO, KIRBY!” so I pulled back at the last second. I am so confused. How else am I supposed to give my seal of approval?!

It’s Halloween! Time for our annual costumes! This year’s theme is Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Mango plays our heroine, Rey who lives in a busted old walker on Jakku. She’s about to meet her new enemy Kylo Ren, played by Torty. They eventually land on a planet/weapon called Star Killer Base, played by yours truly, and have an epic lightsaber battle!

It’s back to school time! For shells of a certain age, that means it’s off to college and time to learn how to be a good roommate. Thankfully, @Thewhimsyturtle has alerted us to some educational videos to help them get through this sometimes confusing, and often frustrating, time.
