I made these really yummy buttery sugar cookies for my friends birthday.

You can try to make any Pokemon you want, if you have the patience and it’s not too complex. Eevee is pretty simple.

Print out a picture of a Pokemon to use as a stencil(print it big if you want big cookies, and small for cute little cookie). Then trace the outline of your Pokemon of choice onto another piece of paper. (You don’t want to use the printer version, the ink may soak into the dough and that wouldn’t be good). If you don’t have a printer, try putting a piece of paper on your computer screen and tracing the image. Try picking a simple, straightforward pose.

If you make Eevee, you need to dye the dough tan/brown. I didn’t have a brown food coloring, so I mixed green and red. You can mix any complimentary colors to get brown. The dough will bake a softer brown than when the dough is raw, so make it darker than you want it.

Roll out the dough(thickness according to the recipe provided), place your stencil on the dough and use a small knife to cut around it. I found it was impossible to move the dough after it was rolled out, so I would roll it out on a piece of parchment paper and after cutting out the Eevee pattern I would move the parchment paper carefully to the baking tray.

It took about 11 minutes to bake, it may vary for other ovens. Do not ice the cookies or move them around too much until the are fully hardened.

Follow the icing recipe, separate it if you need multiple icing colors. Use the printed picture as reference, and add the detail. It doesn’t have to be perfect. Make your own piping bag out of a sandwich bag, make a really tiny hole at the corner. For really small details I used a toothpick.
