I’ve been on a trip to new orleans this week and they were filming amc’s iwtv show this evening ! on st. peters street (3/16/22)

I couldn’t get a photo, but in the vans were black filming chairs with the show’s title and dozens of white puffy shirts ! (I’m sure they go through many.) very exciting !! don’t think the cast was here yet. this is right off jackson square in the french quarter. will be sharing some more photos of my nola trip with you all !!

I have been receiving asks about who I think might be a good choice for the upcoming VC series, so here are some of my picks. imagine with luxurious wigs and pale skin. tried to go mostly unknowns and age accurate choices. I always see fancasts as way too old. lestat is 20. (forward to Chris please)

Lestat de Lioncourt — Neels Visser

the literal embodiment of the brat prince. thin and tall, (but muscular asf) piercing blue eyes and fantastic hair. gives off that “I’m a chaotic disaster but but it’s because I have abandonment issues” vibe. a true french aristocrat.

Louis de Pointe du Lac — Deaken Bluman

you guys. people of the page. you would not believe how I fell out of my chair when I saw this man. he is true merciful death. (picture green contacts) would despise you for centuries but be in love with you on the dl. if you doubt me, watch this clip of him.

Armand — Matthew Clavane

by god if somone does not give this boy some black wings this second. we are truly blessed. also: not too old but also not young enough that his appearance would change every season.

Claudia — McKenna Grace

queen of acting as the younger version of the main character. she would kill you and throw you in the bayou zero fucks given. also totally adorable.

Daniel Molloy — Joe Keery

can you guys even imagine this boy interviewing louis. the hilarity. the shock. would 110% fanboy at lestat’s concert.

do I even have to explain this one. holy shit.

total legend, would tell lestat off and slap him in the face. she would look and I cannot stress this enough incredible driving up to crash lestat’s concert to rescue his ass.

not sure if he would ever act, but I could just see him playing the violin and drinking blood red wine.

for after the switch of course. funny, good actor, could see him having a really funny freak out to lestat’s shenanigans.

red hair, pretty, could see her snooping around the rue royale and seeing some ghosts. boo back.
