reblog to make a terf big mad
reblog to make a trans lesbian feel big loved
hey please help a sister out.. is there any way to watch gay stuff on netflix without the fam knowing?
Yes!
Okay, so what you wanna do is…
As soon as you finish watching your gay stuff, go up to your profile and click “Account”:
Scroll down to “My Profile” and click on “Viewing Activity”:
Find the title you want to “hide” (aka delete from your history):
Click on the “x” next to the movie/series you’re trying to hide.
Clicking that “x” will delete it from your viewing activity AND prevent the title from showing up in the snitch sections of your account, “Recently Watched” and “Continue Watching”.
Boom.
Now you can watch whatever gay stuff you want and your fam won’t know unless you tell them.
(Warning: It might take up to 24hrs to “hide” so plan accordingly.)
Reblog to save a life- all jokes aside I know the struggle and even being out I don’t want anyone know that I’m watching something gay. Hopefully this helps someone enjoy lgbt content with a little less stress.
local lesbian ally adrien agreste has stripes on shirt. that's the whole joke

(he asked marinette to make them for him)
Current Mood: Crying While Watching Blue’s Clues Pride Song
It’s sung to the tune of The Ants Go Marching One By One song!!!
Another reason why Blues Clues and You is like the best reboot ever
some highlights from the notes 💖
Stop.
Oh, my god. I’m already crying with asexuality included.
Now you’re telling me other groups feel the same way?
There’s legit tears down my face.

The more you look at it the more you love it.
The drag queen is holding a BLM sign.
There’s a Hijabi on the all races float (and if you look closely at the flag, I think the owl is indigenous).
One of the babas is disabled.
They could have just stopped at including all the flags.
But no. They said “I don’t care if they’re animals. I’m going to make it very clear we’re including all races and disabled people.”
And it’s such small details, but they’re there.

Found 2 more hidden BLM flags.
And I consider myself pretty versed in queer identities, but even I don’t know what some of these flags are.
Which really shows that you’ve never had the opportunity to feel validated like this, and that makes me love it even more.

I already made my own post about this as well, but it seems like a good idea to add the info on this post too, since it’s really taken off. There are (at least) 30 different flags plus assorted other representation. They include:
Pride, Progress Pride, BLM Progress Pride, Lesbian, Gay Man
Trans, Nonbinary — Dolphin wheelchair user, Top surgery beaver
Gender Queer, Genderfluid, Intersex Demigender, Demiboy, Demigirl, Bisexual, Pansexual, Asexual, Demisexual, Gray Asexual, Aromantic — Blind bird
Bigender, Genderflux, Omnisexual, Neutrois, Maverique, Pangender, Drag — llama(?) with prosthetic leg
Trigender, Ally, Two-Spirit, and Gender Questioning — Hijabi owl and Native American owl
I’m so fucking happy for the LGBTQ+ kids that have things like this to let them know they’re valid
This much representation including stuff I’ve never fucking seen before
and in a KIDS show, like that’s insane, people will finally grow up knowing it’s ok to exist
Blues clues did their research, said LGBTQ+ rights and fucking meant it bruh
Please like it to show your support. Conservatives are dislike bombing the video and the likes to dislikes ratio is 53:41. Earlier it was 51:39. If the ratio is too bad then Nik might not do anything like this again - bad for publicity. So please show them how important this video is!

Heyo! With pride month starting, here's a quick comic on pride Etiquette, a short guide / general tips on treating lgbt+ people, for the new, curious, and those who forgot!
1) Treat people's identities as the indisputable truth. Even if you don't think they fit the definition, even if you don't understand (the identity), even if you think they're lying, even if they're a bad person. It's not your job nor your business to tell people what to call themselves. Unless they ask for your opinion, only the individual can make that decision.
*There's very few times when an identity can actually be harmful. This includes predatory labels, labels that are bigoted by definition, or people identifying with culture-specific labels when they're not part of that culture. Otherwise, leave them be!
2) Respect and use people's pronouns, regardless of how you feel about them! If you don't know how they work, ask! If you accidentally misgender someone, correct yourself and move on! No need for lengthy or dramatic apologies. However, also make sure to ask when it's appropriate to use them! Someone may not be out to parents, certain friends, etc, and will ask you to purposefully misgender them for safety.
3) LGBT+ people are not responsible for someone else's anti-lgbt+ views! Strange, unbelievable or confusing identities do not cause bigots to be bigots- the lgbt+ community was made because we don't fit society's box, don't fall into the trap of forcing people into another one! If they're not actually hurting anyone, then leave them be!
4) You're not expected to learn every single lgbt+ term / identity. Nobody knows all of them, not even lgbt+ people, so don't worry about it! Simply learn and ask questions as you go!
5) If you're curious about someone's identity, ask if they're comfortable with questions first! There's no harm in educating yourself, but sometimes we get tired of being walking encyclopedias!
Thanks for reading, and happy Pride!!!
This pride month, let’s talk about LGBT reproductive rights and activism.
Did you know that lesbian and bisexual women are 2.85 times more likely to suffer from stillbirth [x] than their straight peers? They are also more likely to suffer from miscarriage and poor infant outcomes like preterm birth and low birth weight.
The thought behind this is the high rates of both medicalized and social discrimination that lesbian and bi women face in general and during their pregnancies. This results in chronic stress, which can be associated with poorer pregnancy outcomes. This is a concept known as “weathering”; where minority groups (especially people of color) face higher rates of negative health outcomes due to the effects of stress and discrimination.
This can also be implied to extend to trans/non-binary people who are trying to conceive and experiencing pregnancy. In a small study of trans men, transmasc and non-binary folks, 31.2% were found to have experienced a form of pregnancy loss - higher than the average 25% of the general population.
It’s important for us to talk this when it comes to Pride, because part of our pride is in the next generation. We cannot have pride while our siblings face health disparities and reproductive hurdles, all while experiencing the trauma of losing a child.
