Another year, another group of my delightful ninth graders trying to spell the word "tragedy" for their Romeo and Juliet assignment.
in a way this is beautiful because this is how language worked in the elizabethean era

Finished the main story of Ni No Kuni on my Switch (3rd time fully finishing the game). Am going to play all of the post story content and then move on to the DS version of the game.
Do you have any mungojerrie and rumpelteazer art? I always viewed them as chaotic siblings and was absolutely obsessed with them
Do you have any Demeter and Bombalurina crumbs?
(Macavity flying down the highway in a stolen truck with sirens blaring after him)
nothing in all of history is funnier to me than the idea that SOMEBODY out there watched Cats 2019 (2019) and saw the Chin Lift scene & said to themselves 'absolutely not. if anyone is going to be gay with Mistoffelees it should be Tugger', and then three years later joined the Cats il Sistina (2022) creative team and made their dreams a reality. this is what art is all about everyone
I'm enough of an adult to admit it, CATS is a good musical
So I've made a little list with books I'd like to read this year, one category for each month (which means I have room to read other books that month as well, as long as I include 1 book that fits the category. )
The categories are as follows:
Feel free to use this list for your own challenge if you feel like it!
Drew a demon girl, I guess. Idk what to do with her so I guess I'll just post her here.
Okay so I finally watched Nerdy Prudes Must Die last night. I'll admit, I wasn't a fan of the songs right away, though after listening to them again this morning, they're definitely growing on me. I like the characters more than the ones from Black Friday, I do also like the setting. I think currently I'd say that The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals is still my number one, followed by Nerdy Prudes Must Die and then Black Friday on number 3, though honestly it's hard to decide between Black Friday and Nerdy Prudes because I genuinely like both and they both have a lot going for them...
I just realized that my Animal Crossing New Horizons island doesn't have any cranky or smug villagers. Those are my two favorite types! How did that happen??
Playing Neopets while applying for appartments. I am so good at this whole adulting thing.
Frozen grapes are so fucking good.
I am 14 books behind on my reading challenge. How did this happen??
Anyway, I finished 4 books this week so there is still hope.

Our Wives Under the Sea by Julia Armfield
“The deep sea is a haunted house: a place in which things that ought not to exist move about in the darkness.
