The others don’t bring up Steve’s past often because they’re worried it’s a sore subject. But teen Spidey doesn’t have that filter, and is just excited to meet a guy from the 40s. Steve enjoys it - it’s not often he gets reminded of the happy parts of his early life.

Omg this is adorable 💓

Wow I actually really like this

I need to see more fics where Peter is a fan of Steve just like in the comics and Steve actually likes Peter and might be a sort of parental figure. I WANT THEM TO BE FRIENDS OKAY??

The Deep  (2019)

The water-breathing descendants of African slave women tossed overboard have built their own underwater society—and must reclaim the memories of their past to shape their future in this brilliantly imaginative novella inspired by the Hugo Award–nominated song “The Deep” from Daveed Diggs’s rap group clipping

Yetu holds the memories for her people—water-dwelling descendants of pregnant African slave women thrown overboard by slave owners—who live idyllic lives in the deep. Their past, too traumatic to be remembered regularly, is forgotten by everyone, save one—the historian. This demanding role has been bestowed on Yetu.

Yetu remembers for everyone, and the memories, painful and wonderful, traumatic and terrible and miraculous, are destroying her. And so, she flees to the surface, escaping the memories, the expectations, and the responsibilities—and discovers a world her people left behind long ago.

Yetu will learn more than she ever expected to about her own past—and about the future of her people. If they are all to survive, they’ll need to reclaim the memories, reclaim their identity—and own who they really are.

Concept: I finish school. The job I work isn’t my dream job but I enjoy doing it greatly still. It pays enough to cover everything I might need. My bills are never overdue. Money is not a thought in my head. I have a place to live. So do my dogs. It is nice and warm, I have some plants, my bookshelves are full, my sheets are always clean. There is time to read at the end of a day. I read a lot. Thinking is a good thing. I meet up with friends regularly, old and new. They love me. We make memories. I have nothing to be ashamed of. I travel a few times a year, always different places. The places I see steal my breath away. The people I meet teach me of life. They are good. There is no war. The sea calls to me and pay visit. I am independent. I am content.

For those of you who may not be aware, in Scotland there is an officially registered tartan called Pride of LGBT.

This is so cool, because tartan patterns were originally family symbols. Almost every Scottish clan has a unique one. Even my family has one. It’s like saying LGBT+ is a family, one you can belong to even if your blood family doesn’t accept you.

Um, I'mma need a kilt in this tartan like YESTERDAY.

Lucifer Fans... tell me your unusual crossover ideas! If you could cross over Lucifer with any other show, which would it be?

I’m genuinely curious.

I’ve seen quite a few crossovers with supernatural or good omens, which makes sense, but I’m curious about other ideas. If you could cross over Lucifer with any other show, which would it be?

For me... LOST GIRL.

Crime-solving-Saccubus, it makes sense, don’t overthink it.

I think Bo (private investigator Saccubus) and Dyson (cop werewolf) would get on well with everyone.

Kenzi would especially charm Trixie, Ella, and Maze and fit right into Tribe nights.

Of course Lucifer would like a saccubus on principle... and of course she would be immune to his power...

Chloe and Bo would bond over their desire to help people...
