life actually gets better when you leave the house consistently btw like im serious
if you don't know where to go, just wander! go to the store and don't buy anything, go to the library just to sit and do whatever you were going to do at home, go to a park and just walk around/sit outside for a bit (weather permitting, of course)
just put some headphones in and walk around the block a couple times if you really have nothing else to do, just getting a bit of air and change of scenery is so good for you
me the first few weeks of forcing myself to go on daily walks (it gets better tho)

I always say that the small things are what makes life worth living.
Today, two friends came over. We chatted and caught up while making pasta with pesto, Chedder, and (Italian) mozzarella. We mixed up some grape squash (diluting juice) too. Then we packed it all up with some gummies, onion ring crisps, and forks, and walked to the beach near my flat. It was a beautiful sunny day and pretty warm (for Scotland).
We just... sat. And talked. And ate. And enjoyed each other's presence and the location and sharing our lives with each other.
THESE ARE THE TIMES THAT MAKE LIFE WORTH LIVING.
THESE ONES.
...I mean, and then we walked back and watched both episodes of Sleepy Hollow and got uber excited about it and then I had to shoo them out or they'd be late for another date, but that only added to the fun! A new kind of fun.
I suppose this rambly blog is saying--don't take the little things for granted. Make time for them. Gone on walks. Eat in a new place. Have chats. Make time for the things you like. Enjoy life.
Because we only get one.
And I don't want to waste mine being frustrated about flatmate conflicts or annoyed with crazy cusotmers at work or irritated by my laptop not working.
There are BETTER things I could be using my energy for.
THESE MOMENTS.
That's what I wanna use my energy on.

Last night I walked to the local beach and watched the sun set. It was beautiful and relaxing. I MUST make more time to do that.
