Helen's Blog: Move-in Day: August 1st 2013:
I moved into the flat I share with Les today. Wolfie send me on my way into the next chapter of my moving. And, let me tell you... it was so wonderful. I bidded Wolfie goodbye, handed in a job application and then met Les, taking the bus back to the town I lived in last time I was here, when I was studying here. It was so lovely, a trip full of nostalgia and connection and guh. Everything was familar and comforting and welcoming and LES. UGH LES. My flatmate is lovely. I am so happy to be back in this town again. :)
She had prepared my room with comforters and a laundry basket and had presents ready for me! For my birthday, she got me the novelizaton of THE 10TH KINGDOM! My welcome kit included a card, coupons for chopping, bath bombs, a make-your-own-lip-balm kit, and face masks. *sigh*
We went grocery shopping, sorted out living stuff, and discussed money and other flatmate-y things. Chats and snuggles also occurred frequently between all of the important things.
Look, our WiFi is called TheTARDIS! ^_^
