“It’s not that wet”

This cat strikes me as both fascinated by the sensation of the rain - the smell, sound, and feel of it - and completely mortified by the fact that it comes with being wet

This cat is like “I am enjoying approximately 75% of this experience but I’m not sure if it’s worth that other 25%”

Belle knew it was midnight and knew it was wolfstime and knew it was pouring outside and she most certainly knew what people would say–what they’d think this meant–and despite all this she also knew that paws couldn’t hold umbrellas and, most of all, knew she simply couldn’t stand the thought of a lonesome wet wolf wandering the streets of Storybrooke in the rain.

golden retrievers are still the only breed i’ve ever worked with that go absolutely WILD with excitement for the rain most dogs tolerate it, some hate it, but golden retrievers, man. they’re on another level

The unique method of repeating kanji in a grid pattern in poem “Ame” (Rain). As part of the wave of modernism that swept over all fields of art in the 20th century, poets boldly began to analyze language structurally instead of merely concentrating on its semantic content. (The Concrete Poetry of Niikuni Seiichi)

The kanji at the bottom means ama or rain, which becomes, after some manipulation, a little house in a rainstorm
