That sounds amazing, I always wanted a treehouse, ended up building a toolshed with my father instead. Even if he didn't know how to be a nice person per se your grandfather sounds pretty damn great :)

The cool thing about that is that you got to help build the toolshed. That's awesome. I was too little to aid in the construction of my treehouse.
Also, because the tree is aging and rotting, it may fall down or cease to be safe. Your toolshed will not do that so quickly.
Yeah, I understand my grandfather NOW. I wish I realized sooner so I coulda told him.
