Watched the new Penguin show last night and I absolutely loved it. It is so nice to finally see people really understand Oswald's character after such a long time, from how Oz treats women, to his relationship with his mother to his dreams and ambitions to his need to be loved, to be remembered and adored. He is the definition of lawful evil, the lesser evil of Gotham, because he genuinely does care about the city, even if no one else sees it. Oswald's greatest strength is his ability to make people underestimate him and use his silver tongue to get out of situations. This Penguin feels like a love letter to Gotham and that version of Oswald and as my favorite character of all time that just makes me giddy. I love how low-key camp Oz is too, in a city that is black and white and gray, here is Oswald in purple, with a plum colored car. I love him so so much. His relationship with Vic is also great and I just know it will break me in the future. 10/10 show

DC Twitter must have been INSANE when it got out that Superboy’s dads were Superman and Lex Luthor. Holy shit. The memes. The ship wars. The homophobes. The mpreg jokes. People would have lost their fucking minds. Lex Luthor releases a statement like “he’s a clone of me and Superman no birth was involved” and people are like KINDA GAY OF YOU TO HAVE A SON WITH ANOTHER MAN, LUTHOR. Lexcorp’s PR team locks themselves in a conference room and refuses to come out for love or money.
