Hey again!So I think its a real big indicator that Knight of Swords keeps popping into your present situation. If you cant relate to being too head strong, maybe you need to do the exact opposite of what you’re doing. Knight of Swords is telling you to go and get what you want! You cant just sit on the side lines waiting for it to come to you. If you want anything romantically to come out this situation you need to start playing offense and get the ball back into your court. Because even if you say that you’re not sure what you want and you’re just waiting on them, obviously you want something from it or you wouldnt bother doing a reading, right? So it definitely seems like your cards are encouraging you to embody the Knight of Swords because if you dont do anything about it, neither will they. Hope this helps!

Hey Hun! I would love to give some input! Can you give me a little bit more background? Is this reading for someone you’re romantically involved in, a friend, a work colleague? And if you are down to share, what were the other 2 cards? So that a picture can be put together lol.

I’ll give you a small input of what it may be based on the information you gave me though! Knight of Swords is typically a card that represents someone who is headstrong and opinionated. Knight of Swords is the guy who wants to get things done fast. He has great ambition and strength and when he sets a goal, he works hard to reach said goal. He doesnt care about what obstacles or set backs are in his way. Nothing is going to keep him from reaching his goal. But keep in mind with all that head-strong ambition, he can get tunnel vision and forget about his responsibities and well-meaning advice that his loved one has given him. So when we set out to reach a goal, we have to remember that we must still have a sense of responsibility, accountability, and compassion. We cant just go into something all head strong and willy-nilly, not caring about others in our wake. The more I read into this, the more that I get the feeling that its more of a Romantic reading. Please correct me if Im wrong, but I’m going to continue on like its Romantic reading lol. Knight of Swords often pops up when new projects are about to begin or ideas are popping up. And since this is a present card, I’m thinking the goal is to be in a relationship with this person?  The Knight of Swords is a reminder of sorts. Its wonderful to feel a bunch of energy and have that invincible feeling like you can get this done right here right now! But take caution! The Ark wasnt built in a day, and I believe this card is reminding you that neither can a relationship. Yes, continue being headstrong and work towards that goal to be with them, but it seems that you may be trying to go too fast. Take your time and avoid trying to take short cuts. Because when it comes down to it, you dont want to sacrifice good work and quality for a quick delivery with quality that is so-so. No one wants a so-so relationship, especially if you’re working so hard for it. Take your time with them, they’re not going anywhere fast, so neither should you ^_^

Im going to be honest with you. Im not really sure how you can summon your familiar. But I have heard that lucid dreaming helps. Or if you simply believe and call upon your familiar, then they will come to you. But like, I said, those are just things that I have heard can be done. There may be a spell out there, but I dont feel comfortable linking you to a spell that I havent used myself. I hate to say it, but you might have to do a bit more research on this one. Sorry, I couldnt have been more help!

Baxter is pretty damn accurate. Other than my first deck of tarot cards, I have never been more connected to a tool before. I think Im a bit confused by your second question. Are you specifically asking how Baxter works? Or how pendulums work in general? 

For your third question: This is how I see it as and hopefully I can explain it without getting you confused. There is a constant energy flow between Baxter and myself. We’re a team. So I’m not trying to get energy from him. If anything, I’m allowing him to use my energy. Before I even start readings on here, I make sure Baxter and I are in harmony and our energy flow is there. If not, I wont even do readings. I then try to connect to the requester. That’s why the requests that send names (best) or initals (ok but will do) and some info recieve the best answers is because I can better connect to them. the more information that I have the better my intuition can connect to it. I then ask Baxter the question(s) and he uses my energy and intution to be able to answer the question based on what I have connected to. Obviously, people’s decisions can ultimately change the outcome if they choose to or by accident. Baxter answers based on what path they’re currently on. That’s why every now and then I try to offer advice at the end so that people can try to change the outcome if they wish. But sometimes, the universe is the universe and when it wants something, it will make it happen (or not happen, depending on the case lol). 

But people also need to keep in mind that people’s lives are crazy and intricate and have more than one story going on at a time (whether you know it or not) and other people’s crazy and intricate lives connect with yours too. So a simple yes or no question wont always be so simple and there’s ALWAYS more to the story than what meets the eye. So I also encourage tarot readings for more clarity and insight.

That’s really cool! I have been too. Actually, I’ve really just been into spheres lately lol.I dont really have experience with crystal balls, unfortunately. Its one of those divination tools that I’ve always had a bit of trouble with. I know it takes a lot of practice and patience to work with them. I do encourage you to try and see if you get the feel for it. What one diviner cant grasp, another can defintely excel in. So just because I have trouble with it, it might be easy peasy for you and thats why some may be calling out to you!

Let me start off by saying that its really awesome that you are starting on your witchy journey. I do have to inform you that Hoodoo and Voodoo are 2 seperate practices and I believe both are closed practices. So if you want to continue into the practice, please be mindful of that. 

With that said, even though I have done personal research in Voodoo and some in Hoodoo, I have no place to teach you anything about either one of them nor do I have permission to practice it myself. I suggest you talk with someone who is actually practicing either Voodoo or Hoodoo. @spiritroots and @witch-vomit are both really awesome and very informative! There are plenty more that I just cant think of on the top of my head lol. Hope this helps!

There’s a few things you can try! I believe the most important thing you can do with your Crystals is to bond with them and create an experience. Once that happens, you’ll start noticing yourself being more connected and feel the vibrations with crystals that you find in stores or finding them out in nature.

Since you cant really feel the vibrations of Crystals (yet), start out by buying a few that you just think are pretty! Once you do that, try out a couple of the following to bond with them:1. Meditate with your crystals. Visualize your crystal in your mind’s eye. 2. Carry Crystals with you in your pocket or purse. Especially ones that corresponds with your mood or purpose for that day. 3. Place Crystals on your body and just be aware of the weight of them on you.4. Rub your Crystals in between your hands to sort of ‘awaken’ the energy within them.

With any way you choose to try to bond with them, try to tune into any feelings you are having. Pay really close to your emotions. Are you feeling happy? Sad? Excited? Calm? How is your mental state? At ease? All over the place? You just had a feeling of clarity? Lets say you are feeling calm, relaxed, and have peace of mind. That would be a great stone to use for stress relief or to help you sleep.

Breaking it down like that will help you open up more and could help you start feeling the vibrations of other Crystals! I plan on doing a more in depth post about bonding with your crystals in the future so look out for that!

But if you must know, I wouldnt say I am ‘desperate’ for money, but yes I do need a bit of extra money to help pay bills that I am falling behind on. Just like every one does. And the reason why I have been asking at the end of my readings is because a few people have stated that they have wanted to tip me but it was hard to find my tip jar. A lot of time and patience, to be honest lol. It took us about 2 hours to come up with it. Make sure to have a paper and pen readily available if you choose to do this!This is how it all started:Since about a week after I got him, I would ask him “Would you like me to name you?” He would say no. I would be a little bit butt-hurt about it but I continued to try to grow our relationship. Until one day, I just felt like our relationship just solidified and that was the day he said yes! So, we went through the Alphabet. “Would you like your name to start with an A? B? C?” So on and so forth. We ended up with narrowing it down to about 5 initials, which I wrote down. After that, I asked “Would you like a male, female, or unisex name?” (asked individually, of course). He responded with Male. Then we went back to those 5 initials. Out of the 5 initials, he responded the best to B.So then I Googled male names that start with B. Then we went down the list of names. I would ask “Do you like the name Bob?” No. “Do you like the name “Benjamin” Slight Yes. And whenever he would respond with a slight yes, I would ask “Would you like to be named Benjamin?” He would respond with a no or maybe. I would write those names down on the paper to come back to it later. After asking him what felt like hundreds of names lol (it was more like 50-ish), we came to “Baxter” I asked him if he liked it. He responded with a hard Yes. I asked him if He would like me to call him Baxter, and he responded with a Hard Yes again. So there you have it! That’s how Baxter chose his name. Sorry for it being so long!

So this is definitely just my opinion of it as I’m not 100% sure what the original poster’s feelings are about it! ^_^But I definitely do believe that thought forms can have an affect on our pendulums as well. As pendulum readers, we too communicate with spirits and work with energies. Maybe not as face-to-face as spirit workers and mediums do, but sprits are a big part of our work! With that, all sorts of things can become attatched to us. That’s why I think its very important to be able to identify between a thought form and a spirit or other entities. And to be able to spiritually gaurd ourselves if ANY try cause harm. I hope this answered your question!
