my earlier post about Leela's strength made me think too about how much homegirl would have to eat to live like that, which is, of course, not totally a science.

I'm assuming she's about 5'10" and 160lbs, which means that just to exist in the world, sitting on the Planet Express lounge couch, she'd need about 1,700 calories a day.

I'd consider her "Extremely Active" between a labor-intensive job, strength training, cardio, and martial arts - which would add an additional ~1,000 calories a day to MAINTAIN her current level of muscle mass.

So Just to maintain her current body comp, she'd need about 2,700 calories a day. Just. To. Maintain.

If she's trying to put on muscle, then she'd need about another 300-400 calories a day on top of that.

It's honestly really depressing when you consider that Rick is the only person that actively seeks Morty out. And even then it's for selfish reasons (going on adventures). Nobody else even seems to notice or care when he's gone, much less seek him out. Hell, no wonder he's codepedent, Rick is the only person that actually pays any kind of attention to him. Even if that attention is negative. My poor precious baby boy.
