This whole scene in Matthew’s rooms is one of my favourites from the entire series.
So many emotions are on display, such wariness at the start, from both of them, to a real sense of the beginnings of trust by the end.
And using the ‘which fall of Carthage’ line on a historian, how very dare you, Professor Sexy, that’s 100% PURE SEDUCTION, right there. JUST LOOK AT DIANA’S FACE IN THE LAST GIF.
