Ella hand-cut paper silhouette. I think Lily James has such a lovely profile!
Paint chip Robin Hood and Maid Marian.
Paint chip Cinderellas.
Another villain I've neglected to cut before: Hades from Hercules!
My October art challenge seems like the perfect excuse to cut some villains I've never gotten around to, don't you think? Scar is one of my personal favorites.
Kuzco, Yzma, and Kronk hand-cut silhouettes.
I bought a beautiful antique miniature frame last weekend at an estate sale, and this is what I cut to go inside (it's about 3.5" across the widest point). The border is a traditional northern European scherenschnitte design, so I thought it was fitting for these ladies from Arendelle!
The Cheshire Cat is all finished! This is a small piece, just 3" in diameter. I will be framing the original in a small vintage shadowbox frame and listing it in my Etsy shop tomorrow (8/18).
Getting started on something new...
Between the tributes to Robin Williams and Lauren Bacall, poor Ariel got a bit neglected this week, but she is finished now! I will be framing the finished piece this evening, and I will list it tomorrow in my Etsy shop at noon PST. I suspect based on the amount of interest that this one has received that she won't last long.
The lady who requested this hand-cut paper Belle art decided not to buy it, so it's officially listed in my Etsy shop!
In case anybody is interested, my Queen Elsa paper sculpt is listed on eBay!
This piece is completely one-of-a-kind and was cut, painted, and assembled entirely by hand.
