On April 11, 7-11 celebrated Bring Your Own Cup Day. Any watertight vessel that fit in the 10″ hole on their sign could be filled with Slurpee for $1.49! The internet is full of photos showing people getting creative with their containers, bringing the weirdest or biggest thing they could find...but sometimes, you have to go with quality over quantity.

Had a really great solo show last night! My awesome brother thataaronjshay filled in on banjo and ukulele since my arm still isn't up to playing. It's such a different experience, singing when you're not playing an instrument. You get to really focus on your vocals. I wish I got to do it more often.

Someone brought a bottle of mystery booze to Monica’s birthday party! Wish me luck.

Update: Mystery booze tastes like lemons and sugar and booze: basically, homemade limoncello. Person who brought it described its maker as being a "lapsed clown." I know such lovely people.

thataaronjshay and I got free pizza at the grand opening of Mod Pizza in Ballard! Heck yeah!

Pros: Good pizza that is totally customizable for a flat fee that's pretty reasonable. Beer selection included at least one cider. Milkshakes. Dangerously close to my house.

Cons: No recycling or compost, just trash bins? What the hell is this, the 1990s or the Midwest or something?
