Submitted by @sketchyelvenass: Fenlen sat, at a loss. Scratching his pen to paper, he was always terrible with words. It didn’t help that he was new to the feelings he was feeling, or that they were toward his mentor.
But if he never expressed them nothing would change, he couldn’t go on as it was. Watching as sweat rolled over Hanin’s body everyday as they trained together. Feeling heat everywhere from nowhere when he physically moved him to instruct him. The tension was going to break his mind.
With nerves as high as the midday sun he finished his short letter and quietly left it on Hanin’s desk, to be found in the morning. Fenlen was ready for the consequences for better or for ill.
