Been playing a lot of Stardew Valley lately, and I finally got around to drawing my favorite hubby <3 I still haven’t romanced any of the others because I keep going back to him. I’m weak :’) Stop being so damn likeable! *shakes fist*

And now that that’s out of my system I can go back to focusing on Regan art yay

His hands ceased to be his then, and lifted the heavy black armor from the bench.  They fastened bronzed buckles and pulled laces taut as if they’d never known how to do anything else.  His own fucking hands wrapped him in those black leather chains without care for how he pleaded with them to stop, for it was not him they served.  

And, when he wore that armor, neither did he.

@sunshinemage has absolutely DESTROYED ME with this GORGEOUS piece of Rexus, at the moment he’s realized his life was never his, nor would it ever be, and he deserves every bit of this.  Honestly, I have no words.  Just…look.  Everything about this is just heartbreaking and absolutely fucking perfect and I just can NOT.  HE HAS FUCKING TEARS IN HIS EYES FOR FUCK’S SAKE omg.

Kay so, when he’s out doing field work, his hair is in a braid. Because reasons. Actually I just wanted to draw a braid, but the field work thing is a good excuse lol.

His color palette is the same as in his post-Trespasser ref, which I need to update, which I will do eventually (aka never). I kinda rushed this because I wanted it done, I have sooooo much other stuff I still want to draw, but I do like how it came out. I’ll probably refine it more in later drawings, mebbe add some patterns or whatever. I don’t know yet.
