happy decade anniversary to this post

You don't hear what he hears.

I came back to look at this art again, and this piece actually feels somewhat personal to me because this is me trying to capture which essence I like most about kabumisu so the doodles are scattered around the place without having any significant message. To me, they feel melancholic and wistful and nostalgic... and warm? not really a ship that I came across often. I never shipped something this hard before. Kabru really makes me adore this ship because there's an image of a lonely child who has grown into a young gentleman who tried his best to be kind, to do good deeds, which is the most noble thing to do. It takes strength. He's such a strong young man, isn't he? That image really evokes a warm feeling in me when I look at Kabumisu.

My gf said this is as if someone is trying to remember things about Kabru and writing them down, and I didn't even say anything about this to her before. I'm amazed that someone can understand the intention even though it's so vague. And I really appreciate that people rb this and saying they get the feels from this even though I didn't particularly do anything special. Isn't art awesome?
