even if I have to read the book/look up translations for the lyrics to understand the story
[album art coming... eventually] Download the entire (for now) album here Or listen to individual tracks from the album at my Soundcloud The latest track, "Ode to Electricity", can be heard here Other tracks of mine can be heard here Please and thank you for listening, feedback is really appreciated. I know a lot of tracks need work, but this is a solo effort by a complete amateur who is only using Garageband, so cut me a bit of slack. :) Also, pardon the fact that these are adf.ly links, I'm just looking to get a teensy bit of revenue from this project since I don't think anyone would ever actuallypayfor this music... at least, not until it's been polished!
i don't care if you don't agree, it was the fucking best
Hey fiends, Today is officially ‘Dead Beat’ release day. Please help support my music today by purchasing an album directly from my website or by downloading it from Itunes, bandcamp, or any or your other favorite digital stores. The fate of this project is in your hands. Click the banner above for more info. Stay weird, ~Curtis Rx
It's a bitchin' album, go buy it.
I didn't take photos of the vinyl and the CD/booklet because that's what everybody got if they preordered. But, since it seems that all of the other goodies are unique to each box, I'll show you what was inside mine... (lots of pictures to follow - fair warning to all with crappy internet connections)
My trophy.
And my place.
As you can see, mine statue is that of a pioneer/hunter guy, and I got 298th place. I don't think anyone has figured out if there's a correlation between order numbers and trophy numbers, but who cares? I have named him Danny Crockett (not to be confused with the famous Davy Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier). Boom, headshot. Even a nice, detailed log by his feet. Temporary tattoos. The best one... ... is definitely this one. I got a small paper fortune from Marvin's as well. It had all this stuff about me liking to sing and dance and help people. It was pretty accurate except for the whole "you really like sports" part, because that isn't really true. (At all.) My crappy camera phone cannot properly convey the goofiness of the pianist. But, I think the biggest treasure of all is this: You may be thinking, "Oh, cool, they printed out copies of pictures from the 'Welcome to Tally Hall' video and sent you one." Wrong. This is the actual photograph that they took for part of the video. Not a copy. This thing was developed in 2008. Here's your proof: Behold, the back of the photo. I had to mess with the contrast and brightness a bit to make the numbers show up, but the giant red letters are there to tell you the exact date, which leads me to feel 99% sure that this was developed in 2008 and thus was one of the photos used in the actual music video. So... you jelly?
My trophy is BOSS. Gonna post some pics in a bit. I'm in 298th place, by the way. Whatever that means.
