Vikings Lillesøster - Season One Masterlist:

Synopsis: As the heir to the throne of the Kingdom of Arundel, Reader is forced to abandon it all at the age of 9.  After being spirited away in the dead of night by loyal guardians, Reader travels to Kattegat where she is finally told the truth of her heritage. The father she believed died long before she was born is alive and well. And his name is none other than the feared King Ragnar Lothbrok.

Reader must learn to get along with an overbearing Father and five brothers who all have plans of using her as a pawn in their own political schemes. 

As a Christian, she must also fight her newfound family’s desire to change her while not angering them since she will need their armies in the battle to become Queen of Arundel. Indeed, there is much for Reader to do as she strategically plots her life. Especially as she becomes a woman, which brings it’s own set of VERY unforeseen complications.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Imagine asking each Ragnarsson to bake you a cake as your birthday present.

HVITSERK:

  • Takes his time to watch any baking show he can get his hands on. Cake Boss, Cake Wars, Sugar Rush, etc.
  • Settles on cupcakes because they're fun to decorate and he can horde some without anyone being the wiser.
  • Methodically bakes as he watches the video on YouTube so that they turn out perfect.
  • Asks Ivar when he's going to make your cake only to have the door slammed in his face.
  • Is already eating one as you unveil his cupcakes at the party. When you glare at him, he looks at you as if to say “What?”

SIGURD:

  • Is very glad that you wanted a gift that came from the heart.
  • Since he's the artistic one, he takes his time to think up a concept before sketching it.
  • Ignores Hvitserk's advice to go on YouTube. Gets baking advice from a servant instead.
  • Goes to Whole Foods and farmer's markets to get the freshest ingredients.
  • Bakes when everyone's out of the house so they won't stick their fingers in everything.
  • Taunts Ivar about not having made his cake yet despite the party being the next day.
  • Smiles as you unveil his cake knowing it's the best one on the table.

UBBE:

  • Despite not knowing how to do anything in the kitchen, he wants to make you happy.
  • Tries to watch the YouTube videos with Hvitserk but finds him annoying. After hearing his little brother moan over the food for thirty minutes, he leaves to figure things out himself.
  • Asks Ivar how his cake ideas are going only to be told to mind his own business.
  • Bakes nervously as he reads the recipe from his tablet. Texts you a few times hoping to convince you to allow him to buy a gift instead.
  • When you unveil the cake, he's relieved that you don’t laugh. Tells you he left it in the pan because he doesn't know the first thing about decorating.

BJORN:

  • Doesn't understand why you want something so pitiful as a gift. Truthfully, he just doesn’t want to cook.
  • Spends time trying to watch the servants cook but finds it boring.
  • Eventually gives in to Hvitserk and watches the baking videos he’s made into a playlist. But like Ubbe, he gives up and leaves because of his brother’s constant commentary.
  • Buys tons of ingredients knowing he’ll make allot of errors. 
  • Makes a mess and curses the oven like it’s a person. Throws a pan at the wall as Ivar is walking past the kitchen. When he asks if Ivar is also having a hard time making a cake, the youngest Ragnarsson ignores him.
  • After several attempts, he finally has a great idea.
  • When you reveal his cake, chuckles rise from his brothers. “Who’s Leslie?” You ask, trying not to laugh. “Look, it’s all they had left at the bakery.” He replies with a smile.

IVAR:

  • Thinks you’re being difficult and would have preferred buying something for you instead.
  • Carefully “borrows” Hvitserk’s tablet from his bedroom so he can have access to his YouTube playlist. Finds the information to be good and takes notes.
  • Blames the missing tablet on Sigurd.
  • Goes to the grocery store and has the workers help him find everything on his list.
  • Waits till his brothers are asleep before he begins to make the cake. After all, the party was the next day and he waited till the last minute.
  • Thinks it turned out well. Decorates it with your favorite cartoon character. Well, at least he “thinks” it’s your favorite character. He can’t really remember.
  • When you unveil his cake, the Ragnarssons burst into fits of laughter. Even you can’t help laughing despite finding it an adorable attempt. 
  • He shrugs you all off even after you give him a hug.

BONUS: Ragnar’s reaction to finding out his sons baked for you:

“They did what? Y/N is a great girl but....I suppose. As long as one of them lands her then, it’s alright by me. I guess.”
