A/N: Here we go 😁 I love all things Fae and two of my favourite series are about them (Sarah J Maas if anyone wants to read them!) The whole plot of having mates was stolen from her 😬 but nothing else in this fic will pull from her books! Also, Astrid who is mentioned in here, is not the TV show Astrid. Your heartbeat pounded in your chest, the noise seemingly reverberating through your ears. All you could hear was the ragged breathing coming from your open lips, sounds around you muted.
And then you heard the words from the man in front of you;

Someone pulled at your arm to stand up but you didn’t budge. You couldn’t.
