Things that inspired my book

Superhero cliches (such as changing in a phonebooth, secret identities being almost found out, ect.)

The Supercarlinbrothers (I was inspired to write a book because of something they said AND I liked the idea of people making theories about my writings because of their videos).

The Romaine Lettuce Recall (before the pandemic this was my inspiration for a major part of the plot).

My family (highly inspired multiple of Justin's family characters).

My favorite authors (shout out to Gail Carson Levine and Rick Riordan for making me want to tell a story I'd fall into the same way I fell into theirs).

Help a girl out and buy her book, link is above

It's so weird how pressured I feel to be working.

I have no motivation to get a job I'll be miserable at, so instead I spend time writing, doing art, and taking as many baby sitting/child care jobs as my mental health can handle (and my mental health is an entirely different subject). However I feel like I'm not doing anything if I get writers block or have a dry spell.

I work so many hours trying to figure out as much for each book in my series as possible but it never feels like enough. I feel this way at least twice a month.

And that's when my mental health is good.

When my mental health is bad (like right now) I feel this way on the daily. I'll work all morning at a childcare job, come home, write three pages, and feel like I'm not doing enough.

A majority of my peers are working full time jobs and going to college. I've self published two books this year and I feel like I've accomplished nothing.

Want a book that has it's own world inside our own world like Harry Potter?

Or a book that has the sassy characters like in Percy Jackson?

Or maybe you really like the marvel movies and want more original superhero content?

Do you like mysteries solved by kids?

Hey! You might like my book!

I'm a young, self-published author who just wrote her first book and I'd love it if you'd try my book!

Here's a synopsis:

Twelve-year-old Justin Strikes discovers he has superpowers and is sent to go to school at C.A.P.E.S, a school for other Abletes (superheroes) like him. However, before Justin and the other first-years can settle into their new life at the school, a prophecy is given. It’s revealed that the villain, Blackglycerin, is hiding at the school and it’s up to one of them to stop him.

Will Justin and his new friends, Eliza and Simon, be able to find the culprit?

Or will students continue to mysteriously become sick?
