Same energy. 🤓 Age old question, but who’s your favorite, Woody or Buzz?
My brother and I recreated Toy Story 3 frame-for-frame
The project began around 8 years ago. Little by little, we achieved our goal of creating a tribute to our favorite film, Pixar’s Toy Story 3. Here is a side-by-side example of what we created:
You may remember a Tumblr post about a “Real Life Andy’s Room.” That was my brother and I, and it was created for this project. Here is an example of what the room looks like in the film:
This project has been an incredible learning experience in stop motion animation, cinematography, set/prop building, patience--you name it. You can view the full-length, fan-made recreation here:
“God only knows what I’d be without you.” The full Toy Story 4 trailer was so incredibly beautiful. I’m really enjoying this mentorship-like relationship between Woody and Forky. Such a unique idea. What did you think of the trailer?
Woody’s been through a lot, and I can’t wait to see what’s waiting for him in Toy Story 4. How many of these items from Woody’s adventures do you recognize?
Happy 2019! Quick tip: a “be healthier” New Year’s resolution doesn’t necessarily mean turning yourself into a pineapple.
A very merry Toy Story Christmas.
Andy’s Room Adventures
“Buzz, your current suit looks just fine. Sure it’s a bit scuffed up, but it’s fine. Now change the channel before Andy gets any ideas.”
“Buzz Lightyear to Star Command: I seem to be caught between a rock and a hard place, or what the local Sheriff calls the dresser and wainscoting.”
“When you said that your vision was garbage, I didn’t think you meant your eye was literally in the trash can.”
Happy 19th anniversary to the perfect sequel, Toy Story 2. It introduced us to Jessie, Mrs. Potato Head, and Bullseye. Most importantly though, it continued to develop the complex story themes the franchise is known for.
Happy 23rd anniversary to Toy Story, the film that brought life to a beautiful franchise and family of toys. Speaking of family, I hope you’re spending time with yours today. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
“I don’t belong here!!!” | The gang returns in Toy Story 4 on June 21, 2019! Are you excited? I sure am. Can’t wait to see more from the non-toy toy newcomer, Forky.
Toy Story in Fall. Dare I say: “Fall-ing with style.”
(Why) my brother and I made a real life Andy’s room.
I’m sure many of you are familiar with my brother and I’s recreation of Andy’s room. No, it wasn't a kids room or glorified display piece. The room was created as a set for a shot-for-shot remake of Toy Story 3.
My brother and I have been working on this project since around 2012. It’s been an incredible and gratifying learning experience, as we hope to have a career in media production in the near future. I recently graduated with a major in Digital Media and he is currently pursuing the same.
This project has been an incredible undertaking, and we’ve made the decision to have this complete by 2019. Please feel free to take a look at the trailer:
See, this is why I keep you around, Woodster. I don’t know a snake-in-boot remover half as good as you.
Pixar balls. Pixar balls everywhere.
Woah, pork bellies are fallin’!
Playing with perspective and plastic dinos.
You know, I’m just an RV ride away! At D23 last summer, it was hinted that the plot of Toy Story 4 may include an RV road trip. Thoughts? Definitely could be interesting. Oh yeah, and Toy Story 4 is due in a little less than a year. Wow.
