I'm going to put a stop to this shit right now.

The gods are not going to punish you for the way the election turned out.

There's already a trend I'm seeing where people are claiming the gods are mad, and mad at us specifically, and I NEED you to please, please try and listen to me when I say that this is a part of grief. We are scared and looking for someone to punish us, to tell us that we're bad, to validate how scared we feel.

This is even MORE prevalent if you've grown up with abusive parents.

Listen, I cannot speak on behalf of the gods, nobody can, especially random people on tiktok.

Try to see that this is a part of doom-scrolling, it's also a part of the grieving process, it's also a part of fear.

You are not in trouble.

It's also important to keep in mind that these people on tiktok have a vested interest in wording things in the scariest way possible, in order to get views. In order to make money. It's a fear tactic and it is exploiting your fear and anxiety so they can make a profit. Do not let them. We're afraid and we're angry and we're uncertain and when we do that, we naturally try to reach out to others, to see if they feel the same, to share those feelings, that's part of what doom scrolling is. There are people who know that, and who will take advantage of that, and who will on purpose make it worse so that they can turn a profit.

Do not let them! Block them, ignore them, get off tiktok for a while, anything you need to do to keep yourself and your mental health safe. You are NOT in trouble!!! Don't let anyone, ANYONE exploit your fears and anxieties so they can get views or make money.

This is such an important reminder. Please, please, PLEASE keep this in mind!

Fear makes people engage in content and engagement is how they make money!
This is all based on the Facebook experiment back in 2012 where Facebook manipulated the news feeds of about 700,000 people to disproportionately manipulate the emotions of those people: (LINK)
But the research also found that the more negative news people got on their Facebook news feed, the more they spent time on Facebook, & the more popular Facebook became. This was confirmed in 2014. This is what other sites are using, especially news agencies and social media influencers.
Block, do not engage and make firm boundaries if you do. They are manipulating your emotions because fear makes you engage more with their content and engagement is how they make money.

The gods are not mad at you, they come from the ancient world and sometimes shit happens!

It's not your fault and they will always protect you!

Breathe, they got your back! Don't fall for predatory emotion manipulation tactics, block and know your gods aren't mad.

They are not mad, but they are ready to protect and help!

The person who started this whole thing just admited to using fear for engagement.

Look at this shit.

First Tiktok is almost at 1M views.

Reminder: influencers on Tik Tok will use fear tactics in order to manipulate you into engaging with their content because your engagement makes them money!
They are preying on your emotions for profit! Block them!

Part 2 of this video: (LINK)

Where I was talking about Ares and the Furies having a baby dragon together and him growing up to be the Dragon guarding Ares' well near Thebes. He was later killed by Dionysus' grandfather, Cadmus. The Spartoi came from the dragon's teeth when sowed in the ground: (LINK)

Part 2 Video on Tik Tok: (LINK)

Video text:

Okay I just got out of the shower but,
I was thinking, um, I actually found out who the mother was, but still, I was thinking about, like, the idea that on the wiki it just says "The Furies," for like, The Dragon's mom...
Oh! We're talking about the dragon of Thebes whose father is Ares and for the mom, like, it just says the Furies.
And I was like, "you know what? I wouldn't put it past Greece to have a myth where they're all pregnant, like all of them,"
cus this is a really big dragon, like a really, he's a really BIG boy! Okay? So I'm like,
"I wouldn't put it past them, mythology, ancient mythology, that they're all pregnant with DIFFERENT PARTS of the dragon!"
Like, How to build your Dragon, ancient Greek edition! Like, this is an IKEA baby! Like, this is the IKEA version of Ares' son.

Made a video about going to Hel:

Caption:

  • That awkward moment when they tell you you're going to Hel for being pagan...
  • Okay?... And?...
  • Do I talk to her about her father Loki?
  • Do I tell her that I didn't like it when they changed her name in Thor: Ragnarok?
  • Like, if I go to Hel...
  • Do I talk to her about the new Loki show?
  • Like, I mean...
  • At this point you're just going to make it awkward between me and a goddess I currently do not work with!
  • Like...wh-wh-what am I going to talk to her about?
  • I haven't done my research—
