like the prisoner is the most heartbreaking but fitting conclusion to such an existential story and i start to tear up every time i think about how they must have felt meeting the traveler. seeing the story they started finally finish. finding out someone heard their call through the eye and followed it. knowing it was all worth it, it wasnt just in vain. Its so beautiful and melancholic to see three civilizations create a new universe together without ever being able to actually speak to each other. and to see it all through slides and the most breathtaking OST in a game that includes all of their motifs? I’ve never sobbed so hard over a game in my life. I stared at the screen for so long after, just fully numb.
