Adventure of Link is a side-scroller that can be played with the Switch's Nintendo Online's base tier. You can watch a playthrough or play it yourself at Arcade Spot! One piece of advice, if you wait long enough at the title screen, it'll tell you the story of what's going on and you'll get a better understanding of what you're doing loll
Reblog and add what you love about the game, things you would like to see, or other resources for those who would like to learn more about it! Here are some suggestions to get you started:

Oh, most unloved of Zelda games, and the most unique of them. At least Nintendo never forgot you, because there's little nods to the game throughout the whole series (even in BOTW!).
It does still have some bangers, most famously the temple theme, thanks to Smash Bros:
And here's a fun orchestral version of it:
A less well known but also pretty song is the title theme:
Its music doesn't get remixed or orchestrated too often because it's too obscure, which is too bad. I think it has some unique vibes to it.
I also recommend checking out Isabelle Chiming's "Adventure of Link Remade" if you like the original chiptune sound. She references later games and gives each temple its own song! It appears to be only available on bandcamp:
Its version of Princess Zelda, near the end of the album, is really lovely.
