The King and Queen in the North vs. The King and Queen of the Underworld

Here it is folks, the meta that no one wants and no one asked for. This sort of spoils my last post for the jonxsansaremix but it’s is Hades and Persephone. I tried to explain why I picked them in the tags of the post, like I did with all the other days but I literally couldn’t even fit half of it in so instead it’s going to become a massive ass essay and then the actual post will come like two weeks later. This is basically just my mythology and literary analysis loving ass analyzing the similarities between the two… and being somewhat self indulgent. Is it well cited? No, because I’m not a historian and I don’t have a degree in classical studies, and it’s actually really hard to find any sources on this story because there’s like a million different versions, but I tried my best.
