Jaime paused where he was getting dressed, his undershirt hanging loosely from his shoulders, and he turned to face her, the softest smile curling on his lips, and Sansa suddenly felt quite naked. “Nothing short of death would stop me,” he reassured her quietly.
That’s just what I’m afraid of, she thought, but didn’t say. Instead, she swung her legs off the bed, the wolfskin falling gracelessly onto the floor, and walked over to him, stepping right up in front of him. His eyes bore intently into hers as she wound her fingers into his hair tightly and grabbed his jaw, kissing him deep, purposefully, passionately.
When they broke off, she gripped his chin in her hand and forced him to look at her again, to understand her every word until he had no choice but to obey. “I’ll be waiting for you.”
