Is it really a romance if you're not trapped in a hell dimension with your beloved after he's loudly and angrily rejected you because he failed to sacrifice himself to save your life because you followed him into the hell dimension anyways and you've got a sound monster eating at your throats when you're not stuck in sensory deprivation for weeks at a time and you're forcibly being fused into a final fantasy-style abomination as your "child" is waltzing through your minds demanding that you sacrifice yourself for it so it may live but you refuse it because you would rather die to save each other instead, even if it means you both die, because it means you're still together?
