The Doctor Who comic story that totally should have been an episode

Okay so let me tell y'all something. In the comic collection The Eye of Torment from Doctor Who Magazine there is a story called Blood and Ice written by the incredible Jacqueline Rayner. While the plot itself is pretty simple, there's an important theme in it that I do wish we would have seen in the show: Clara's echoes. The thing about the show is that after The Name of the Doctor, Clara's echoes are never really brought up again, nor are Clara's thoughts about her echoes or how much she remembers from them. The beauty of Blood and Ice is that ALL OF THAT IS FINALLY ADDRESSED. In fact, Twelve and Clara run into one of Clara's echoes (her name is Winnie) and Clara has to deal with the fact that she knows Winnie is going to die. The story also establishes the fact that apparently not all of Clara's echoes died. Though Winnie died saving the Doctor, they find out she sort of accidentally saved herself and lived. Anyway. I wish that this story would have been an actual episode, just with a more fleshed out plot. As bonuses, there are some cute Twelve and Clara moments, Clara makes a reference to Big Hero 6 and Twelve makes a reference to Bob the Builder, and the whole story takes place in Antarctica where the Doctor regenerated for the first time! This is why I love Jacqueline Rayner.
