Romana gave him a loud sigh, but... [slight laugh] I could see that her eyes were smiling. It was the last time I saw that look in her eyes.

Apparently putting your hands in the air when people point guns at you is not a big thing in E-Space, the universe Adric comes from.

Yessss. Other highlights:

Adric: Could anyone pass the sodium chloride, please?

Doctor: They do it standing on their heads. Adric: Not with a computer? Doctor: …’Standing on their heads’ is an expression, Adric.

Richard: What do we say if the door is opened? Adric: ‘Hello’?

Oh my gosh yes.  It’s so amusing how much he doesn’t get all those colloquialisms.
