Please stop thinking of music education as a fall-back major. It’s not. We need more committed music educators and if we continue to consider music ed as a fallback we will continue to have band directors who hate their jobs and don’t actually help their students.

It’s difficult being both a Belle fan and a (sort of) Regina fan right now. I’m so tired of seeing Evil Regals saying that those of us who think it’s clear that Regina ripped out Belle’s heart without her consent are only worried that Regina!Belle made Rumpel cry. Or that it’s “obvious” that Regina would never rip out someone’s heart in a desperate attempt to protect someone she loves (apparently these people slept through the scene in the Neverland arc in which she did precisely that).
And now these same people are saying that they hope A&E “leave it vague” because they’re worried that fans will start bagging on Belle. My guess is that they really want it kept vague so that they can continue to deny the overwhelming onscreen evidence that Regina did, in fact, victimise someone whose life she’s made a misery and who accepted her apology for decades of abuse.
