Happy Crowy Yule! It's a reall whose who of Yuletide.
You there, tumblrina, what day is it?
Then I haven’t missed it!
And it was always said of him that he knew how to keep Christmas well, if any man alive possessed the knowledge. May that truly be said of us, and all of us. And so, as Tiny Tim observed…
Two Years Later
-August 2020
I did this illustration as a birthday gift for @ziracona. It’s from one of the final scenes of her work In Living Memory. It has been a journey. Two years and about 1.5 million words of a journey. And it is, without a doubt, one of my favorite books in the world. I love and am so attached to these characters; and this scene feels so incredibly earned.
In two years, I hope we feel like these guys do.
Christmas thing I drew for @ziracona because she really likes the Telltale Batman game. I guess this is an AU where everyone is happy/friends all at the same time?
Some of @ziracona ‘s characters as a christmas present for her (I need an au where they are both happy and alive at the same time).
“Humans need fantasy to be human, to be the place where the falling angel meets the rising ape.”
Hogfather watercolor I painted for my dad as a gift this year (don’t tell)
@ziracona and I did this thing where we would cast every movie as hetalia characters and our crowning cast achievement was Hetalia Christmas Carol. But since we like the Muppet Christmas Carol better than any other version, what we watch every Christmas Eve has become the Hetalia Muppet Christmas Carol. Ziracona told me I needed to do some HetaMuppetCarol doodles today; so here! Enjoy some of our nonsense, and Merry Christmas! (Click the images for captions to go with the nonsense) (oh and sorry about the handwriting)
Edit: i just realized that the first panel says neither “why are you here?” nor “what are you here for?” but “what are you here?” … uh…
Our cast included: England as Scrooge (who else tbh), The Ghost of Christmas Past part was shared by Norway and Joan of Arc, Bob and Emily Cratchett were Canada and Ukraine, Tiny Tim was Seychelles, Dickens and Rizzo (muppets yo) were Spain and Romano, Revolutionary America was Belle (modern America also got to be Fred). Our cast also included such jewels as Grandpa Rome and Germania as Mr. and Mrs. Fozziwig and Henrey the VII and Neville Chamberlain as the Marleys

my santa hat is not crudely drawn

As part of our continuing holiday special in @ziracona‘s D&D campaign, The Forgotten, we are going to a big, fancy, fantasy christmas/midwinter party and get to choose our outfits.
1: My character Cloak over cape over little bitty dress
2: The DM described this abomination the npc I have to invite and his outfit. If I had to picture it, so do you.
The next three were guesses:
3: @garbage-senpai‘s character and the npc he takes care of.
4: @actually-im-supergirl‘s character would look good in suspenders.
5: I couldn’t picture our Dragonborn dude picking a holiday outfit, so this is what my character would pick for him.
Even a good-for-nothing father never forgets a child. A child never forgets its parents, either.
