It's Loki Finale Day, so let's have a little bit of fun before it starts!

Q: Who's behind the TVA?

Choose your fighter

  1. It was OG 2011 Loki all along
  2. Kang the Conquerer
  3. Miss Minutes
  4. Ravonna Renslayer
  5. Alligator Loki
  6. Casey's fish, trying to release him from TVA hell
  7. The little French kid in Aix-en-Provence from ep1 (I don't know, I'm just making shit up at this point 😂)
  8. None of the above
  9. All of the above
  10. It was Agatha all along

Answers on a TemPad. Or something like that

National Museums Scotland on Instagram, 7th July 2021: What do the National Museum of Scotland and the Time Variance Authority have in common? We're the only two institutions capable of catching a Loki 🕵️
The Horned Helmet was worn by the Trickster God during his time as Asgardian royalty. To Asgardians, its horns represent Loki's mastery of sorcery; more subtle, however, is the nod to Loki's true parentage as horns were a common feature on the helms of elite Frost Giants. The Horned Helm was forged by --

-- wait, we split the timelines again, didn't we? Sorry, let's start over. *Plants reset charge* 🕳️

The Torrs pony cap is a piece of equestrian armour, also known as a chamfron or chamfrain. Made from two pieces of riveted sheet bronze, its intricate decorations were made by hammering the bronze from behind in a process known as repoussé. The flowing lines evoke vegetation, and within them are stylised birds' heads. Similar decorations can be found on sword scabbards across Europe, from Ireland to Hungary. The cap was heavily used and had a long life, not just in its prime but as a historic artefact. It was discovered in 1812 at Torrs, near Castle Douglas in Dumfries and Galloway. Antiquarian Joseph Train acquired it, then passed it on to none other than Sir Walter Scott who kept it Abbotsford.

We like to think that the MCU's Loki would be flattered, as he usually is, to find such a familiar object prominently displayed in a museum. To celebrate the release of #BlackWidow and #LokiWednesdays, we've rounded up 25 objects that resemble MCU heroes and villains in our Stories and on Twitter. Have a look and let us know which one hits closest to the mark (on that note, yes - we got Hawkeye) 🏹

Three episodes in, and I feel pretty damn emotional about just how much I LOVE the Loki series, and every single person involved in its creation.

This series is proof that you can have exploration of character flaws and strengths, massive action sequences, light humour, representation, and deeply meaningful and thought-provoking moments, without sacrificing anything in the way of narrative or pacing.

Other writers and directors would do well to observe and learn...
