“Only use as a last resort when no other masks are available. It’s not an N95 but I guess it’s better than nothing. Bandana (or handkerchief or piece of cloth) + hair ties. More info: you can insert a “non-woven cloth” in the middle of the mask like wet tissues that are dried to act as a filter. Someone also suggested coffee filters, gauze, air condition filter, or vacuum bag with HEPA filter. Stay safe #masks4all.” [x]

The elements that create the colors in fireworks. Na - Sodium, creates the yellow/gold colors. Ba - Barium, creates the green colors. Sr- Strontium, creates the red colors Cu - Copper, creates the blue colors Ti - Titanium, creates the silver/white colors.
The reason these elements create these colors is because when the firework charge goes off, it creates a chemical reaction which creates and releases energy in the forms of sound, light, and heat. Some of this energy is transferred to atoms of the elements used to color the fireworks (e.g. copper), before then releasing the energy in the form of light in its specific color.

I especially appreciated Tom Hiddleston. We got in the elevator together to go to the green room and I was like, ‘Hey, man. I’m such a huge fan of yours.’ He had no idea who I was. So, I was like, ‘I’m going to play Shang-Chi.’ And he was like, 'Oh man. Amazing. Welcome!’ Me being me, and being such a huge Loki fan, I asked him for any words of advice or wisdom.
“He told me, 'Don’t be afraid to put yourself into the role. Don’t be afraid to contribute your ideas and your thoughts because the wrong thing to do in this situation would be to show up to work and ask other people what is required of you.’ He said, 'If I want anything for you, it would be to charge head-first into this and not be afraid to commit, pitch ideas, and be totally unapologetic in doing so.’ I found that so useful. I’ve been living by those words ever since. It’s just this idea of being proactive rather than letting this opportunity run me over.”
Last year I did a few write-ups and drawings about some lady fighters from history who fought openly as their gender (there are plenty of disguised-as-a-man soldiers and plenty of trans soldiers, but those are outside the scope of this series). This is by no means an exhaustive list; there were plenty of great figures that my schedule didn’t permit me to tackle (at least not yet). But as Women’s History Month gets started tomorrow, I thought y’all might enjoy reading about some of history’s toughest broads.
