Marvel Studios' Loki Season 2 | Loki Through The Years
Marvel Studios' Loki Season 2 || October 6 on Disney +
I know I've been largely absent this year, but to everyone who celebrates the holidays, I hope that wherever you are, whatever you're doing, and whoever you're with, you can find some happiness today.
For those who don't celebrate or are finding it tough, happy Sunday.
Love and hugs to you all,
Humm 😘
‘A lot of this always comes down to the directors. And what Branagh did - just from my point of view - was he brought the Shakespearean element to the sibling rivalry, where everybody could relate to feeling less than, or shut out, or pushed aside, or not equally loved… and I think that you’ve [to Tom] just done a brilliant job…’ ~ Robert Downey Jr

Bonus:
Loki, starring Tom Hiddleston as the Asgardian God of Mischief and Sophia Di Martino as the Lady Loki variant Sylvie, was a massive success for Marvel Studios on Disney+. One of the breakout characters of the series was Alligator Loki. He even got his own snappy theme song. And Marvel Comics is ready to cash in on the success of Alligator Loki by giving him his own Infinity Comic series.
The Infinity Comics are a comic book format that is exclusive to the Marvel Unlimited app, which can be read vertically like webtoons. The Infinity Comics have had some significant successes under their belts, like the series It’s Jeff!. It’s Jeff! followed the adventures of Gwen Poole and Wade Wilson/Deadpool’s pet land shark, who is just as cute as Star Wars’ Grogu/Baby Yoda.
And now it’s about time for Alligator Loki to get the same treatment. Written by Alyssa Wong (Star Wars: Doctor Aphra), inker Robert Quinn, colorist Pete Pantazis, editor Katelyn Gregorowicz, and penciler Robert Quinn. Alligator Loki will drop on Marvel Unlimited on March 11, and Marvel describes the first issue as:
“Family Bonding.” Alligator Loki and Thor get to know one another at an Asgardian amusement park!
Perhaps Alligator Loki could turn up in Loki season 2 alongside Owen Wilson’s Morbius M. Mobius, who will be taking on new roles in the Time Variance Authority (TVA) after the death of He Who Remains/Kang the Conqueror (Jonathon Majors) opened the new Marvel Multiverse. Loki season 2 will also bring back Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Judge Ravonna Renslayer and Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15.

Loki Season 2 has a pair of directors in Moon Knight's Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead. Deadline reports the duo will co-direct a majority of the episodes. However, there are some other changes coming to the TVA in Season 2. Michael Waldron, who was the show runner for Season 1 will now be an executive producer. Eric Martin will step into writing duties for the six episodes. Loki is the first of the Marvel Studios Disney+ shows to get a second season announced. Many have speculated that What If might follow shortly. (Especially after that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness trailer…) Other than Tom Hiddleston, no one has been confirmed to return. However, fans expect to see Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Wunmi Mosaku again when the doors to the multiverse fly open.
Variety interviewed Hiddleston about the differences in his character for Season 2. The actor hyped a changed Loki after the events in the Citadel.
"I understand the audience sees good in Loki — they want him to get past his internal and external obstacles," Hiddleston explained. "They want him to repair that relationship with his brother and step into the hero that he can be. He realizes, 'Actually, I can choose my path and choose to do the right thing. Or I choose, at least, not to repeat the same old tricks that I repeated over and over in a cycle of trust and betrayal.' It's exciting to retain all the characteristics that makes Loki, Loki, and at the same time to play slightly different music within him," the actor added.
Speaking to Wired recently, Owen Wilson explained that the show would be starting production soon."'Is Owen Wilson coming back to Loki?,'" the Marvel star read. "Um... yes. He is coming back to Loki, and I think we're going to begin filming that pretty soon. I had a great time working on Loki. I really enjoyed Tom Hiddleston and all the people on that [show]."
Some fans may lament Kate Herron not being the director for Season 2. But, Kevin Feige and others have intimated that it was because of scheduling and other projects rather than disinterest in the series.
"I would say that when I joined Loki, it was always going to be those six episodes. We were treating it like a movie, and we were running it like a movie. We weren't doing it in the showrunner system," she said to THR. "So it was a lot to direct these six episodes, and I gave it all of my energy and everything I had in my soul and in my heart. I threw everything I loved about Marvel at it. So I always intended just to do these six."

Hiddles Birthday Week 2021: Day Five ~ Favourite Friendship
Hiddleswitz: Tom and Josh Horowitz have known each other professionally for eleven years, since they first met at San Diego Comic Con in 2010 when Tom was promoting Thor. Since then they have met on numerous occasions for interviews, and appeared together in some of my absolute favourite videos: Slumber Party; Loki’d; and The Worst Party Ever. Josh is always able to bring out Tom’s playful side, but can also ask insightful and thought provoking questions, and there seems to be a trust between them. What started out as a professional acquaintanceship now seems (at least to me as an outsider) as much more personal than that. There seems to be a true friendship there, and everything they do together as a result is gold.
To truly dig into who Loki is, the creative team had to learn from the man who knows him best: Hiddleston. "I got him to do a thing called Loki School when we first started," says director Kate Herron. "I asked him to basically talk through his 10 years of the MCU — from costumes to stunts, to emotionally how he felt in each movie. It was fantastic."
