Olé!
I was such a ball of anxiety I don’t remember a lot of this; thank god for video. Reviewing the video, I’m thankful he seems cool with everything. I gave him some posters and a copy of the book.
On the plane home I suddenly realized I forgot to ask him for a photo with the book so now I feel like the biggest idiot haha.
How wonderful! Thank you for sharing!
Well, she doesn’t look like a zombie to me…
WW Philly: For ALL of YOU

Ok so here it goes.
I brought my pink sharpie for him to sign my Loki doodle and he did. When he was done, he put the sharpie in the pile of all other sharpies.
Now, I wanted that sharpie back so I reached out to take the pen. He thought was going for a handshake. So he reached out to me to but at that point my hand was already hovering above the sharpie pile.
For a moment there was this awkward sharpie-grabbing, hand-grabbing thing going on. I asked, “can I get my sharpie back?” He APOLOGIZED, saying “of course, I am so sorry I am (at this point I didn’t register what he was saying). I apologized for being so awkward and I practically ran away from the booth.
Luke was trying not to laugh and the staff gave me thumbs up on my way out.

Tom Hiddleston at almost 7pm still signing autographs. The venue closed at 7pm but he was still signing when I left and they had already turned most of the lights off. All the celebrities really went above and beyond. Sebastian Stan, Chris Hemsworth and Tom all had to add another autograph session when they were already supposed to be finished. I watched Sebastian, even after signing however many hundreds of autographs, stay late to sign free photos for the volunteers and gave them all big hugs. I don’t have any complaints about any of the celebrities, they all were as friendly as they could be. Ive heard some complaints that they were ‘rude", I think that’s people being disappointed about how rushed everything was and you couldn’t just stand there telling your life story because there was probably 200 people waiting behind you. Wizard World completely mismanaged the entire event. They sold way too many tickets and scheduled each event much too close together. I can’t think of a single event (besides the panels) that wasn’t delayed by at least an hour and some things had to be cancelled/rescheduled. They expected each celebrity guest to be able to do three things at once. I watched Tom Hiddleston do at least 800 photo-ops in a row because they scheduled them all back to back (that doesn’t even count however many photos he took in the morning session). Then as soon as that was over he had to go sign 200+ autographs that lasted until after the show was over when he was supposed to be able to leave at 5. Seriously they worked these celebrities like dogs and seemed more concerned with how much money they could get off the tickets than the logistics of planning the event. I wouldn’t be surprised if most of them never return (I know I wont) but they were still very friendly and tried to have a little chat with everyone (i even made Luke Windsor laugh which could be the highlight of my day because you rarely see him not looking very stern)
It seems like Tom was there at least until nine, judging by Twitter reports.
And congrats on making Luke laugh. He’s a sweetie.
And THIS is why I NEVER judge any guest at a Con on the basis of photos you might see on the internet. In my experience unfortunately this is par for the course at conventions. The organisers milk the cash cow for all it’s worth squeezing in as many ticket holders as possible. It’s hardly surprising some guests run out of smiles at times. Also comparing guests is unhelpful. Everyone is different and responds differently. From what I’ve seen they all tried their damn hardest to be as amenable whilst remaining true to themselves.
Someone arrest this man.
I read people paid a lot of money for their 30 secs with Hiddles. Worth every cent. Just look at this…
*shakes head* Child.
@magnetobsessed79 This is the kind of quality content I expect on my dash on a Sunday morning! 😂
Also. SHUT THE FRONT DOOR! THE SECOND BUTTON IS FASTENED!!! This is not a drill!
The point at which Loki becomes Loki’d!
Tom Hiddleston arriving at the airport in Philadelphia wearing his red plaid button-up shirt.
He’s been waiting for an occasion to bring this back. Flight from SoCal to Philadelphia seems apropos.
@magnetobsessed79 You know my feelings on this style of shirt…
Stop it @thehumming6ird!! 😩😩
@magnetobsessed79 Shan't! And now a certain friend has reminded me how old Thomas's shirt (and consequently how soft it must be from multiple washes...) there is a high probability that it will eventually make an appearance in BDC...
Me, after registering at Wizard World Philly: “Is there a schedule of times for all Sebastian’s photo ops and autograph sessions?“
Nice lady 1: “Yes, you can find a schedule at Sebastian’s booth inside. It’s in the back on the… left?“
Nice lady 2: “Yeah it’s on the left, because we moved Mackie to the right to keep them apart.“
Me: “I’m sorry, did you say you have to keep Sebastian and Anthony apart?”
Nice lady 1: “Yes, because they get into trouble if we don’t. They have been silly stringing each other and the staff. We had a volunteer directing people and they both completely covered her head in silly string.“
Me: ”….you’re joking.“
Nice ladies 1 & 2, looking slightly disgruntled: “No. We aren’t.“
You guys. The staff of Wizard World Philly have literally been instructed to keep Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie separated. Because they are silly stringing themselves, others and the venue.
OH MY GOD THIS IS THE BEST
Sending my love to all those lucky peeps who are realising their dreams of meeting their heroes at WizardCon today! If I can offer one piece of advice it is this:
Breath.
Take a moment to enjoy it because it passes so quickly...
And above all else, have an amazing time!
