Tom Hiddleston on Instagram: ‘What an honour! Yesterday I was presented with a caricature at Sardi’s, a part of Broadway history. I’m so grateful that they’ve made a space on the wall for me. They do very good prosciutto & melone! I’ve never performed on Broadway before. It’s been such an extraordinary experience, one I haven’t fully organised in my mind yet. I’m sure over the next few days and weeks, many thoughts and feelings will come to the fore. It’s been a privilege to be part of the theatre community in New York, and to perform on stage here. Thank you to everyone who helped to make it happen.’ #BetrayalBroadway

‘And a year is a long time, and I know the older we get, the shorter they seem. But to do this play, every day, and to do it with such extraordinary people who are so committed to bringing it to life has really been an honour. Endings are interesting for me. I can’t quite organise this experience in my mind yet. And I know that over the coming days and weeks so many memories and images and feelings will come to the fore. But it has been extraordinary.

And I’ve already been speaking for too long! So just to say thank you, sincerely, from the bottom of my heart. And lets have a look at this [caricature]!’
