Someone said "Billy parent trapped Agatha and Rio" and tbh I can't stop thinking about that 🫣
Maybe we're all so overstimulated because the only form we receive information in now is short form videos that are either:
- Lip syncs to a viral sound or song so you have to decipher the sound and how it translates to the video
- People talking with microphones stupidly close to their face
- Videos of products with obscene amounts of AMSR at double the volume
- Videos with nauseating transitions to keep you engaged
- Videos which are designed to stoke fear, anger or outrage.
Like tumblr was the one of the last safe places where memes were still in text or photo form and that's also being taken over by video form content.
I can't wait for this phase of the internet to die and I hope the next phase is we go back to sharing information via photos or text only.
