Hi! I'm doing a thing about what people's reaction would be if in a possible Gone TV Series would change the gender of Sam into a woman. What would your reaction be? C: have a good day!
This ask is probably from a while ago but I would love to see that, even though I don't find it that necessary because we already have a lot of strong girls in the books. I think part of the appeal of Sam beig a dude is this whole brotherly relationship with Caine. But again, it would've been cool to see a female main character :)

I still haven't! I have a lot of books that I need to read but I've been so busy this year that it's just not happening. Also I feel like I should reread the Gone series first before I get to Monster... idk. But let me know what you think of it!!
Thinking of rereading the whole series... I don't remember a thing, it's been at least 6 years oof.

wow someone eles is still here too. Iread Monster and liked it mostly, I got half way through Dust but putit down and haven’t finished it yet. I need to get going with that again. As for shows I’m watching I’m loving On My Block on Netflix, the show needs more appreciation.It has a great PoC cast the storylines are really goodaparat from the wired gnome thing, but don’t let it put you off.

It's crazy because I've never met another person whose read Gone before and now there's a sequel !!
It’s more common than we think actually, the series is available in my library haha :) thank god for that, because of that we get a sequel!
I know everyone has shared this by now but if you haven’t seen this: watch it! I’m so excited for this. I remember reading Gone for the first time 6 years ago. I was in no way the same person as I am now but it still makes me very happy to see people are taking their time and effort to create stuff for this fandom. (Also that “Mad World” music in the background I’m LIVING)
