DC and Warner Bros need to watch this over and over again until they finally get it right with this new cinematic universe.
Imagine, for a moment, that Marvel Studios had decided to launch its vast cinematic universe with Captain America: Civil War. That is to say, the movie didn’t merely have to introduce Black Panther and reintroduce Spider-Man; it also had to introduce Cap himself, and Iron Man and Black Widow and Falcon and Vision and Scarlet Witch and everyone else all the way on down the line. It needed to set up backstories and narrative arcs and romantic entanglements for everyone involved. It needed to explain what brought them together. And it needed to do all of this in about 15 minutes...

Suicide Squad: After Careful Consideration and a Ton of Over Analyzing...
Suicide Squad suffered from the same issues Batman V Superman did. Everyone did well in their roles, I do believe some extended Jared Leto scenes would’ve gone a long way to endear this version of the Joker to viewers, but overall it was good. However, I would’ve preferred a more CGI heavy Killer Croc. At least give the guy a tail, smh.
Back to my main gripe: Like BvS, a lot of things seemed like they were edited down (or completely edited out). All this really means is that I’ll like the extended cut a lot more than the theatrical version. It would, however, be refreshing if Warner Bros decided to not be so reactionary to public discourse moving forward and just let the creators of these films flesh out their vision without any meddling <–Lol in my dreams.
In conclusion, let’s all go watch Suicide Squad again to beef up the box office numbers so these Warner Bros execs can chill the fuck out and just let DC do their thing.

Bad reviews are steadily rolling in for Suicide Squad… Does this really matter to you? Is it changing your expectations for the film?
I say fuck em. I didn't hate BvS (the ultimate edition is awesome, BTW) so I can't envision Suicide Squad being anything less than entertaining at the very least.
