AND THERE'S MORE. They continued with fourteen episodes based on this miniseries and although they recast everyone, it's still SUPER fun and campy but wonderful (I actually prefer the second cast). It has an amazing morally grey femme fatale in Lesage and really dives into the disconnect between Dinotopia and the mainland. I think it's all on Internet Archive! And if you need a reason to watch the miniseries, the disabled, dinosaur-hating villain is played by David Thewlis and he's so wonderful (as always).
