So I was watching one of those elephant documentaries and some guy walked over to the elephants and the elephants all crowded round to look at him and stroke him with their trunks.

Despite Twilight’s flaws I think we can all appreciate what Rosalie Hale did to her gang of rapists after she became a vampire

One of Twilight’s biggest flaws was always that um, how do I put this? It has these kickass supporting characters with these fascinating back stories and instead we have to pay attention to this truly boring couple instead of hearing about Jasper fighting in a vampire war, or Alice as a psychic girl in a 1920’s mental institution, or Carlyle as a vampire doctor trying to atone for all the murdering he did.

Or Leah as the ONLY BIOLOGICALLY FEMALE WEREWOLF IN THE WORLD, or that other vampire baby from South America.

Or pretty much anything beyond Bella and Edward staring at one another and crying.

Of all the rad twilight fanfics in the world that I’m sure exist, including, surely, some expanding on these badass minor characters, They chose to publish and film 50 shades of fucking grey.

FIRST OF ALL YOU HAVE MARK HAMMILL, aka LUKE SKYWALKER RESTATING WHAT IS UNDOUBTEDLY ONE OF THE MOST MEMORABLE LINES IN SCI-FI HISTORY. LINES THAT WERE ORIGINALLY SAID TO HIM. 

THEN YOU HAVE THE FACT THAT THE CHARACTER HE’S PLAYING IS A REPRISE FROM HIS ORIGINAL ROLE AS THE TRICKSTER, IS TELLING THIS TO HIS HEIR APPARENT, THE NEW TRICKSTER.

AND LET’S NOT FORGET THAT HE’S USING HENRY ALLEN AS BAIT FOR BARRY (THE FLASH). HENRY, WHO IS PORTRAYED BY JOHN WESLEY SHIPP  WAS ORIGINALLY BARRY ALLEN HIMSELF.

OH AND FUN FACT:  HAMMILL WAS CAST AS THE TRICKSTER FOR SOME EPISODES DURING SHIPP’S PORTRAYAL OF THE FLASH IN 1991
